Top Options for iPhone Repairs

The iPhone is a wondrous thing. It is pretty much the king of all cell phones at the moment. It also happens to be always a bit delicate. One drop can have its glass screen shattering across the floor or the Home button might fall off. The list of repairs related to iPhones is getting endless.

So, how does one get an iPhone fixed? For an iPhone Repair, you would generally have three options. These are options are:

Apple Care: Apple Care is the official repair shop for iPhones, iPads, and iPods. It is located everywhere. However, rumor (read: Customer reviews) has it that Apple Care charges an arm and a leg to fix a seemingly tiny problem. It costs $199 for screen repair. Apple plans to introduce warranty subscriptions and better services.

DIY Kits: These can be achieved by you. All that's necessary to do is buy an Apple repair kit, learn to fix your iOS device via blogs and online guides (good luck with that) and then set about repairing things by yourself. However, the problem here is that there are different kits costing different prices. The more expensive ones claim that the cheaper ones are missing key tools, while the cheaper ones claim that the expensive ones are just a sham. And then there are the large numbers of guides telling you to do a million different things. And all you wanted to do was an iPhone repair.

Independent Repair Shops: If you're utterly confused, and just need to get your iPhone repaired quickly, then independent repair stores are your best bet. They charge much less than Apple Care and they get stuff fixed quite well too. However, finding a reliable iPhone repair is the real issue. Some take days to fix, others fix it in a matter of minutes. It's up to you to locate a good repair shop.

Now that you have your three options, which one will you choose? One is far too expensive and too over-worked. Second is too much of a hassle, the third takes some effort to search for. Whichever you pick, you might want to put a bit of thought into it.
